Transponder Requirements for 600 Gb/s Data Center Interconnection

Abstract

The requirements for 600 Gb/s single wavelength transmission in short links, namely data center interconnections, are assessed. It is shown that 600 Gb/s transmission is possible using available components and digital pre-emphasis.
