Low-Complexity Blind Phase Search for Filter Bank Multicarrier Offset-QAM Optical Fiber Systems

Abstract

A low-complexity blind phase search (BPS) for the carrier phase estimation in optical FBMC-OQAM systems is proposed. Compared to the BPS algorithm, the proposed method is of lower complexity while still delivering a similar performance.
