Proposal of Multistage-Feedforward Carrier Phase Estimation for Optical 16-QAM Signals

Abstract

Multistage-feedforward carrier phase estimation method is proposed and numerically studied, predicting good robustness against laser phase noise and a wide estimation range of the frequency offset 12% more than that of symbol rate.
