High resolution optical spectrum characterization using optical signal processing

Abstract

Characterization of passive optical components based on optical-frequency-combs and optical-channel-estimation using OFDM signals has been proposed. An FP cavity characterization has been demonstrated with the measurement range beyond 375GHz and a frequency resolution of 19.5MHz.
