Surface Morphology Dependent Light Trapping of Plasmonic Nanoparticles on Silicon Wafer-based Solar Cells

Abstract

We reveal plasmonic nanoparticles are effective to enhance the light absorption in planar Si wafer cells, while the absorption enhancement can be significantly offset by the plasmonic induced losses in the textured cells.
