Plasmonic Enhancements in Thin-Film Organic Solar Cells by Multi-patterned Relief Gratings

Abstract

Surface plasmons were optically excited via the diffraction grating method using single, crossed and parallel grating schemes. Photocurrent enhancements up to 355% were demonstrated in P3HT-PCBM organic solar cells for TE and TM polarized light.
