Abstract
LED lamps are entering the market more and more now driven by law due to ban of low efficiency lamps and due to fact of increasing brightness of the semiconductors itself. Further more LED lamps could have the possibility to increase the efficiency further in the next years while standard technology as incandescent, halogen and fluorescent lamps are close the technical limits. From point of view of energy saving these lamps have a benefit in terms of power consumption and in terms of necessary production energy.
