Stable Polarization-Dependent Self Pulsing in a Brillouin Amplified Spun Fiber

Not Accessible

Abstract

A polarization-dependent narrow spectral dip (~1MHz) within the Brillouin bandwidth of a 900-m elliptical-core spun fiber is associated with stable self pulsing of the amplified Stokes signal, seeded and pumped by CW lasers.
