New Prospect of Tellurite Microstructured Fibers

Abstract

Dispersion tailored microstructured fibers and nanowires are developed using tellurite glasses. We demonstrate low threshold single-mode supercontinuum generation by using a tellurite nanowire with long suspended struts under the pump of a picosecond fiber laser.
