Enhanced Absorption of Ultrathin Film a-Si Solar Cell Based on Ultrathin Metal Grating

Abstract

We present enhanced absorption of solar cell composed of an ultrathin absorbing layer embedded between a metal reflector and an ultrathin metal grating. Absorption improvement for both TE and TM polarizations is achieved.
