Extended Frequency Operation of Slow Light in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

Abstract

We present a scheme to extend the frequency operation of phase shifters based on slow light in semiconductor optical amplifiers. We show that phase-shifting can be performed on microwave signals at frequencies approaching 100 GHz.
