Phase Locking of SBS Slow Light in a 2.2-km Single-Mode Fiber

Abstract

A stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) slow light system in a 2.2-km single-mode fiber is phase locked to a reference signal. Optical pulses of 6.5 ns duration are delayed 0.9 pulse width while maintaining lock.
