Four Wave Mixing based stopped light in optically thick hot Rubidium vapor

Abstract

We discuss stored light in warm Rubidium vapor. Mediated by FWM, the idler pulses are spontaneously generated in the medium, and then stored and retrieved simultaneously with the signal pulses.
