Abstract

Conventional nonlinear techniques, such as four-wave-mixing (FWM), have provided considerable information about the spectral and temporal amplitudes of ultrafast coherent radiation emitted by semiconductors and multiple quantum wells (MQW's), but they typically provide no information about the temporal or spectral phases of the nonlinear signal.
