Abstract

This talk will summarize our research on vacuum-field Rabi splitting (normal-mode coupling (NMC) between one cavity mode and one exciton resonance) in semiconductor microcavities. This is a very interesting and controversial field where definitive experiments and realistic many-body computations are essential to correct interpretations.
