Electromagnetic induction imaging with atomic magnetometers

Abstract

We report on atomic magnetometer-based electromagnetic induction imaging. A highly-sensitive and broadly tunable radio-frequency atomic magnetometer provides the core of our system. A range of applications – from security to biomedical imaging – is discussed and demonstrated.
