Spectral Modulation Effect suppression and Compensation of Phase-Error-Induced-Micromotion in Ion Trap

Abstract

We have suppressed the spectral modulation effect and the motional effect itself of the phase-error-induced-mocromotion by extra modulation. Based on this, we investigated the heating effect of micromotion under the condition of low ion temperature.
