Generation and manipulation of quantum frequency states of light with AlGaAs chips

Abstract

We demonstrate the generation and manipulation of frequency quantum states of light with AlGaAs integrated devices working in the telecom band at room temperature. The manipulation of the spectral wavefunction symmetry allows to obtain both bosonic and fermionic behaviors opening the way to the utilization of our platform in a large variety of quantum information tasks.
