Quantum metrology with two-photon phase-sensitivity and single-photon detection

Abstract

We introduce and demonstrate quantum-enhanced optical phase measurements with two-photon sensitivity and classical light detection with a standard photodiode. Our strategy paves the way towards resource-efficient and practical quantum metrology.
