Cavity enhanced quantum limited magnetometry

Abstract

We present a quantum limited, high-spatial-resolution, radio-frequency magnetometer by optical readout of polarized Cesium spins at room temperature. The atomic vapours are contained in a microcell and placed inside a cavity for optical depth enhancement.
