Temporal evolution of femtosecond laser induced plasma filaments

Abstract

We present high resolution, time-resolved measurements of the relaxation of laser induced plasma filaments. A simplified model of relaxation rate equations is proposed and compared to a more accurate simulation and previously used analyses techniques.
