N-photon autocorrelator with picosecond temporal resolution

Abstract

We demonstrate an ultrafast autocorrelator with single-photon sensitivity based on superconducting nanodetectors. Its temporal resolution is only limited by the hotspot relaxation time which has been directly measured to be ~ 20 ps.
