Abstract

Optomechanical systems are rapidly approaching the quantum regime. We show that mechanical systems can be efficiently interfaced to atoms, and how dissipative coupling can be achieved in a Michelson-Sagnac-Interferometer, giving rise to strong nonlinear dynamics.
