Second Order Nonlinear Frequency Conversion Processes In Plasmonic Slot Waveguides

Abstract

We study quadratic nonlinear interactions in plasmonic slot waveguides. Demonstrating modal phase matching, we exploit this feature toward parametric amplification of the plasmonic mode by means of a pump.
