Geometry-controlled Nonlinear Optical Response of Quantum Confined Systems

Abstract

We introduce a new class of quantum confined systems, made of networks of wires, that serve as lower dimensional objects embedded in higher dimensions, as a geometrical approach for enhancing the nonlinear optical response.
