Plasmonic Metasurfaces: Manipulating Light on a Surface

Abstract

We discuss theoretically and experimentally how plasmonic metasurfaces can largely control and manipulate the polarization state of light. By using ultrathin plasmonic arrays, circular polarization conversion and filtering is achieved over subwavelength distances.
