Ultrafast supercontinuum spectroscopy of multiple exciton states in lead chalcogenide nanorods and nanocrystals

Abstract

We examine the multiple exciton population dynamics in lead chalcogenide nanostructures by ultrafast supercontinuum transient absorption. Carrier multiplication is revealed in the limit of low absorbed photon number, along with biexciton dynamics.
