Tunable plasmonic resonance using core-shell nanoparticles for increasing optical absorption in solar cells

Abstract

Using metal-dielectric core-shell nanoparticles to tune the plasmonic resonance peak for increasing optical absorption in solar cells is proposed and investigated. The enhancement region could be tuned in a large wavelength range of about 200nm.
