Retarded-interaction magnetization waves in planar split-ring-resonator arrays

Abstract

The resonance damping in split-ring-resonator square arrays operating at around 200-THz frequency depends on both lattice constant and observation angle. This behavior is interpreted in terms of magnetization waves with retarded nearest-neighbor interaction.
