CdSe/ZnS quantum dot embedded hollow toroidal microcavities and their modal properties

Abstract

We fabricated a light-emitting hollow toroidal micro-cavity by applying low temperature heat treatment to a polymer thin film micro-disk containing CdSe/ZnS quantum dots and investigated their modal properties from quantum dot emission spectra.
