Explosions of Xenon Doped Methane Clusters in Intense X-Ray FEL Pulses

Abstract

Interaction of ultrashort -X-rays laser with xenon doped methane clusters have been studied in the first experiments at LCLS with time-of-flight technique. Xe doping affects the explosion of the CH4 clusters.
