Study of the Impedance Mismatch at the End-facet of a Parallel Plate Waveguide Operating in the THz Regime

Abstract

We study the impedance mismatch for terahertz waves propagating in a parallel plate waveguide via the TEM mode. The impedance mismatch is found to be a strong function of the plate separation.
