Abstract
Transient electronic charge density maps with 30 picometer spatial and 100 femtosecond temporal resolution gained from x-ray powder diffraction experiments unravel for the first time a concerted electron and proton transfer in hydrogen-bonded (NH4)2SO4 crystals.
