Abstract

We use transformation optics to demonstrate focusing of light. The lenses are designed and fabricated on silicon with dimensions ranging from 20μm × 20 μm to 5.0 μm × 5.0 μm. The numerical and experimental results show the focusing of light over a broad wavelength range, from 1.15 μm to 1.60 μm.
