Production of 3ps Multi-Terawatt Pulses in a CO2 Laser System

Abstract

15TW picosecond 10 m laser pulses are obtained at the UCLA Neptune Laboratory achieving record CO2 laser power. This peak power opens unique opportunities for applications in high-field experiments in the mid-IR range.
