Soliton Molecules: Phase Profiles and Binding Mechanism

Abstract

Temporal soliton molecules in dispersion-managed fibers are characterized with the new VAMPIRE technique. Based on the revealed phase and power profiles an analytical model is discussed to explain the binding mechanism of these stable compounds.
