Frequency Tunable Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

We present a hybrid metamaterial semiconductor device capable of 20% tun-ability of the center resonance frequency via photoexcitation of the semiconductor regions, thereby addressing the metamaterials drawback of narrow bandwidth operation.
