Mode Control by Lattice Deforming in InGaAsP/InP Photonic Crystal Laser

Abstract

The dipole mode in point defect photonic crystal shows the characteristics of nondegenerate by deforming lattice structure. Lasing action with single mode, y-mode, is obtained in the elongated point defect cavity in our experiment.
