Surface Plasmon Cavities for Solid-State Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics

Abstract

We propose a cavity based on surface plasmon modes confined by metallic distributed Bragg reflectors and analyze the interaction of the cavity mode with quantum dots (QD). The system exhibits strong Purcell enhancement.
