Pulsewidth Dependent Nonlinear Absorption In Au Films

Not Accessible

Abstract

Z-scans of 20 nm Au films at 630 nm show strong fluence and pulse-width dependence of nonlinear absorption that is characteristic of electron heating; βeff increases > 100 × as pulse width increases from 0.1–6 ps.
