Abstract

Nd3+: (La1-x,Bax)F3-x as new scintillator and laser material is explored using efficient micro-PD method. Fluorescence peak located at 175 nm is better compared to Nd3+:LaF3 due to broader fluorescence and shorter VUV transmission edge.
