15 mW, Tunable Difference Frequency Generation Source for Absorption Spectroscopy

Abstract

A novel waveguide periodically poled lithium niobate crystal for difference frequency generation in the mid-IR spectral region at 3.52pm is characterized. High mid-IR power of 15mW and a conversion efficiency of up to 19%/W have been obtained.
