Stokes and Anti-Stokes emission in Au nanoparticles and Au-rhodamine 6G complexes

Abstract

We observed emission of Au nanoparticles. One of its bands corresponded to surface plasmons. This emission could also be excited using anti-Stokes pumping. The efficiency of anti-Stokes excitation strongly increased in the presence of R6G dye.
