Efficient Coherent State Quantum Computing by Adaptive Measurements

Abstract

We show how to reduce the resource requirements of linear optics quantum computing by using coherent state qubits supplemented with an adaptive measurement to construct gates and study the fault tolerance properties of these constructions.
