Inter-subband exciton relaxation dynamics in single-walled carbon nanotubes

Abstract

We study inter-subband exciton relaxation dynamics in semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes with sub-30-fs temporal resolution. We measure a 40-fs time constant for energy relaxation from the second to the first excitonic transition.
