Entanglement Manipulation with Linear Optics

Abstract

Entanglement extraction is a first-step application of the linear-optics quantum-information processing. It is useful in distributing entanglement via realistic noisy transmission lines. In the talk I will present the principle, experiment, and further possible applications.
