Abstract

We have observed nanosecond electrical and optical pulsations from photorefractive lithium-niobate optical fibers using low-power lasers (~ = 532 nm). Fourier spectra of the pulsations have a maximum at ~900 MHz with peaks separated by ~30MHz.
