Coherent control of optically injected population and spin in (111)-GaAs

Abstract

We demonstrate independent coherent control of population and spin in (111)-grown GaAs through quantum interference of one- and two-photon absorption of ~100 fs phase-locked pulses with various polarization combinations and crystal orientations.
