Nonlinear solitary waves in an electro-magnetically induced nonlinear waveguide

Abstract

Possibility of the propagation of nonlinear solitary waves in an electro-magnetically induced transparency atomic medium is shown. A coupling light is found to induce a nonlinear waveguide in the medium, and the solitary waves can be freely controlled in the waveguide.
