Determination of anisotropic dipole moments in single self-assembled quantum dots using Rabi-oscillation

Abstract

By investigating the polarization-dependent Rabi oscillations, we determine the respective dipole moments of the two excitonic states |E1,x> and |E1,y> of a single self-assembled quantum dot that are split due to the shape anisotropy.
